Singapore Polytechnic, Media and Communicatons. You get the idea right? I got posted there. Sure, it’s the course that I wanted all along after failing to cut the mark at Mass Comm and Media Studies and Management at NP and SP respectively. Sure, I’m happy but certainly not overjoyed. Somehow, my happiness was toned down when I got to know about my friends’ results.
Some got into where they didn’t want to be at all in the first place. Others were caught offguard that their first choice was as if not being considered at all. There’s still time to appeal. If you’re sincere and confident of what you want, I believe you’ll get it. Think thoroughly before making your final decisons alright, people? After all those efforts, what lies ahead will be decided by your fate. Afterall, a try is still worth more than not trying and regretting all your life.
No more lame people like Edwin and Jiahong, whom I’m closest to all my secondary school years. Sayonara to Kenneth and Zhi Huan who have been lighting up the darkest corners of my life all along. On a lighter note, at least we’re still in Singapore and can meet up during our free time. Drats. I gotta start life all over again. I feel like I’ve just woke up from a nice dream and start my day afresh once more.Rejuvenated, that’s the word.
After 6 long years building my foundation, I took 4 fruitful years to shape my future and now 3 more years awaits me as I bid to keep my dreams alive. Thanks Mum for being there for me, thanks sis for being my punching bag during my torrid times. Pity you for being my sis. Thanks my friends and teachers who’ve been straightening the crooked path I’m walking on all this while. And before the list ends, thanks Jehan for supporting me when I’m down and out. You people will always remain in my heart.
“Just when you thought the journey has just reached it’s finishing line, another path appears to lead you to the summit of mountain. Ain’t no mountain high enough, ain’t no river wide enough, ain’t no dreams that can’t be realised.”
