I know this is something totally out of context especially considering the month that we’re in now. But after hearing snippets of it from the TV screens in our MRT stations, I suddenly recalled this song quite vividly, much to my surprise.

My vote for the Best NDP song thus far goes to Tanya Chua’s Where I Belong. And that’s like way back in 2001? I like it for its simplicity but meaningful lyrics (well what’s an NDP song without those components right?).

But I guess the singer herself locked in my vote. I love her soulful voice, very much like Corrinne May. Gosh I’m such a sucker for raspy voices.
