Of course that was just an exaggeration. But seriously speaking, you never know how old that bug(ger) crawling around your house may be right? It may have even touched the Triceratops. Have you?

But I saw a weird looking cockroach just now in the kitchen. It was white. Freaking hell I thought I saw the ghost of a cockroach. Then my mom said that it’s just the outer coating of a cockroach, something that’s part of its shedding process.

Okay that calmed me down a little bit and I continued to admire admire the sight I’ve never seen before.

But a few seconds later the ‘outer coating’ moved its feelers! Inside my heart, I was screaming “Fucking hell! The outer layer is alive! This IS the ghost of the cockroach!

I freaked out like how those who hated flying cockroaches will squeal at the sight of one. Except that I didn’t squeal.

This bugger actually moved! So my sister and I concluded that it’s a white cockroach. I googled ‘white cockroach’ and a whole load of information came out.

What my mom said is true after all. The cockroach was shedding its skin but the funny thing is that it’ll turn white in this process. 12 hours later, it’ll turn to its original colour of brown or black, whichever makes you squeal at a lower pitch.

Luckily for me, Baygon swiftly became my sidekick and once again, the world is safe… thanks to Fitree & Baygon.
