Babe and I went to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve the other day for the first time in our 19 years living on Earth. After conquering a steep hill at the very start of our hiking trip, we were somewhat forced to climb even more steeper steps to reach the summit… which to our disappointment was only roughly 100m high.

We were (over)ambitious and thought that we hiked a grand total of 700m in height. Maybe numerically it doesn’t seem so but overall it was a good body workout for us. Maybe our legs and thighs suffered a little bit more agony.

And as always, the going down is easier and faster than going up. Now I can blame gravity for my weight and not all the junk food that I ate plus the exercises that are pretty much non-existent.

That railway track? Gosh, I was happily snapping away thinking that no train will pass by at that point of time. 5 minutes later, one whizzed by. I swear it looks faster than our MRT trains. Luckily I was already away from the tracks.

But it’s cool to be on the tracks you know? There’s no yellow line that acts as an imaginary boundary for your body.

That thrill is perfect for my dosage of adrenalin rush.
