Or so life says about me

Phew! It has been days since I last typed anything into this space. I’m not exactly busy but somehow I’m kept to my brim with futsal and hanging out with my friends and Babe. But one thing’s for sure - I can’t stay at home. I tried it once, after a long time, on the first day of Chinese New Year and it was freaking boring!

I spent most of my time in front of the computer, playing flash-based games and alternating between Viwawa and Football Manager till my eyes went droopy. TV shows weren’t cooperating either as only a couple of shows managed to get me hooked. And I thought I was so tired after all those staring at screens but I spent close to an hour tossing and turning on my bed before I finally went to sleep!

I just need to get my bum up and moving. Period.

Internship was done and dusted since a few weeks ago but I’m still holding up this little entry about it which I’m pondering when will be the right time to make it public. In between then and now, some of my friends have been busy extending their contracts and getting used to office hours. But I’m still holding up my resume due to personal reasons.

By the way, anyone got job lobang? I should be able to commit till I get on the speedcraft to Tekong in July or later.

And I finally got my hands on my Panasonic FZ-18! It was really worth the little bit of waiting huh? No doubt it was a second-hand one but it’s as good as new, thanks to Mr Japanese-speaking Nice Guy! Now I can finally move a step forward in developing my interest in photography. I really hope the fire in me won’t die out so fast.

My sister celebrated her 12th year tolerating my nonsense yesterday and I got her a congkak as a little present. Somehow thank God I bought a congkak for her ’cause I played it for the first time in my life! Who else could have been a better teacher to me but my sister!

To think that I’m older than her but she knew how to play congkak earlier than me. Tsk, I’m so out of tune with youngsters nowadays. Maybe I’ll find myself playing masak-masak with my sister next.

Tomorrow we’ll be going Pizza Hut for a mini celebration - or so the plan is - which means a major disruption to my diet! Hmm… let’s just eat one slice of that pizza, shall I?
