Rules of the game is easy. Each player starts off with 10 weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own (the ten weird things/habits/little known facts) as well as state this rule clearly. At the end, you must choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs!
1. I have a blue-themed room. My wardrobe, bedsheet, curtains, pillow case, toilet tiles and even my towel are blue. BUT my favourite colour is orange, as seen on my PUMA watch and W810i phone.
*
2. I got bronchitis once back in my primary school days. That’s worst than asthma. Now I take cold drinks like nobody’s business, play soccer for hours and have no effect towards cats’ furs. And that’s soooo un-asthmatic. YAY!
*
3. Do you know that one of my few ambitions is to be a Malay teacher in a primary school ’cause I like them going to me and say something cute and innocent like, “Cikgu Fitri, Cikgu Fitri… saya nak gi toilet boleh?” Translation: “Teacher, teacher, can I go to the toilet?”
*
4. My mum is a single parent as of 2004. That was when I was taking my ‘O’ levels. And funny enough, I didn’t fall into depression. Hmmm?
*
5. Wo hui jiang yi dian hua yu, thanks to my close friends back in secondary school and my current Chinese teacher.
*
6. I had a du lan face. People said that when they see my face, they’ll feel like punching it. You know what I mean? That’s cause I rarely smile. Not that I smile a lot now but I think my du lan look has toned down. I think.
*
7. I’ve never worked in “nice workplace with a nice working environment”. My past part-time jobs were being a courier guy boy and a pizza-maker in Canadian Pizza. Currently, I’m a tutor. Anyone out there needs my personal one-on-one attention?
*
8. My favourite number. Coincides with the Chinese meaning of prosperity and luck but frankly, I didn’t even consider those when picking my choice. It all started with a soccer jersey number and it has stuck with me ever since.
*
9. Fitri means holy. A pretty tall order to follow eh? Let’s put it this way - for a living example of a complete opposite of a holy person, look no further than me.
*
10. I like to gentel my bantal. Translation: “Tickle the hard ends of my pillows.” Geddit? Oh gosh, I think it’s best understood only in Malay!
*
The following people, you know what happens next. You have been tagged! So just do it. *swoosh*
