Today was about to be a not-so-good-day for me but luckily Herwan called me at the right moment, at the right time. Phew! So I settled some stuff over at Giant and made our way down to town. It has been eons since I step into town!
Haikal, Herwan and I got loads of time to kill ’cause we gotta wait for that certain Mike to end his shift so we roamed around, going mall-hopping. I thought the black jeans from TOPMAN is kinda worth it for $53 but I guess I’d give it a thorough thought first before making any purchase decisions.
As we walked down towards Somerset, I decided to check on babe on how she’s doing for the day. Let’s just say I love that surprised look on her face when she first saw my friends and then myself right in front of her. Heh, please don’t kill me for making your heart jump, babe.
So after a short chat, we went off to Plaza Singapura to wait for Mike. But along the way, I met a tranny. Actually more than 1. But there’s this particular one, clad in mini-shorts, who gazed at me and acted as if (s)he’s horny. I am so damn disgusted by it! His/her legs are hairy can?
And I can’t believe we made eye contact!
Believe me, I am still getting goosebumps as I was writing it down and having that scene on ‘replay’ mode on my mind. I stared at him/her ’cause I suspected that there’s something amiss about him/her. But I guess (s)he took the stare a little in a different meaning. Shit man!
Time check: 6.15pm. That bugger is still nowhere to be seen. But of course he finally showed up and we continued walking towards Arab Street to have our dinner settled at Kampong Glam Cafe. Next time must try their Iced Milo, babe!
The prices of the jeans over at Haji Lane is not as attractive as before. Blame it on wide publicity about the whole place. Now that more people are patronizing the area, of course the shopkeepers want to increase their profits! Sigh… some things really should be left untouched.
Well since I like to go on budget, I guess I’d give some jeans found there the ‘green’ light. After my bank gives me the ‘green’ light to withdraw some cash, that is.
Initially we wanted to smoke sheesha but we ‘virigns’ don’t know the price of it but when we do, we realized that we aren’t carrying enough cash with us. Aye.. let’s just save it for some other time then. So next stop: Esplanade.
It was hilarious when we tried to take jumpshot photos at this place we stopped by along the way. I think there was a couple making out there but we just ate up a few minutes of their intimacy, I’m sure they won’t mind. Anyway, it’s too open a place to do something hush-hush. Bad choice people, baaaaaaaad choice.
Haikal and Herwan’s jump-cum-pose shot was uber cool and nice. I like the second picture. Very PHHWWAARRR!!! But of course must see whoehemtakeehemtheehemphoto.
So I tried to emulate them…
Herwan’s freeze was nice but Mike and I jumped too late.
This picture sucks because I looked like an ah pek sitting like that. Actually I was preparing to jump but the camera snapped too fast. REJECTED!
I finally made a decent jumpshot but Mike didn’t! Arghhhh! But nevermind lah, it was a good workout though. It was time for those lovebirds to sing their own tunes anyway, if you catch my drift.
Esplanade area was too mendak (read: dull and lifeless) for us so we went over to the Merlion side. Hah! Second time in a row going there. Same place, different people; never tired of the place.
Now that’s where Newater should be coming from.
Look who’s the angel, the devil and the human being.
And this would be a nice family protrait, don’t you agree?
I met Xiaolin as I passed by Fila, then bumped into this DMC Year 1 girl whom till now I still don’t know her name and a few minutes later was given a rude awakening by Joanne, my ex-classmate. Whoa! Bumping into so many people at one go sure isn’t an everyday thing.
Joanne’s voice was a ‘classic’. First you’d hear her call your name then you’d search for the bugger who called your name only to find her waving at you frantically. Damn ‘classic’ lahh.
That’s a not-so-good-day turned good for me. Thanks to these people in my life.
Oh hell yeah they do kick butt.
And when Herwan has got his license, we’ll paint the town red. Not forgetting our ‘Guys Nite’ at Herwan’s penthouse, at Marina Bay’s The Sail. That’s where we’ll watch the fireworks during National Day, get ready before clubbing and say “Sorry honey, not today” to our future wives.
I love to live the dream.
